Hi. I installed DisplayCAL some time last year and am running version 3.7.1.3. However, after not having used the computer since last year, I started the program again today. It tells me that there’s a new version 3.8.9.3 available. But no matter if I run the update from the app or download the installer from the website and install it, the version stays the same old 3.7.1.3. After each start I get again the notification of a new version. No error messages or anything, but the version just doesn’t change. I’m running OS X 10.11.6.

Any idea what the problem is and how to solve this? What happens to my calibration if I uninstall and re-install the software?

You likely have two versions installed in parallel. Delete the older one from your applications folder (or wherever it is installed).
