Hello, I just installed DisplayCAL to manage profiles and calibrate my old Dell U2410 which was connected via DP.  The DisplayCAL profile loader can recognize my screen and the profile, but when I open DisplayCAL, neither the screen and i1 Display Pro can be detected. I am running a Windows 11, the graphic card is RTX 2060, the DisplayCAL is ver 3.8.9.3. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how I can solve it. Thank you !

Tools / detect display & instruments

i1DisplayPro is a HID device and does not need drivers with ArgyllCMS. It may happen that you installed some Xrite tool that is keeping the hook on device, thus ArgyllCMS cannot use it. Close that app or uninstall it.

Thank you for your reply. The problem was solved by installing DisplayCAL as  Administration, and still I have uninstalled the i1 Profiler and DUCCS. But now another problem. The calibration can’t be loaded correctly. When the calibration started, the measurement area was not shown on screen, and the calibration quit after several seconds. I have read this topic (Windows 10 1903 (May 2019 update) issues and fixes PLEASE READ | DisplayCAL ). Since I am running DisplayCAL on a WIN 11 system, I can neither install the KB4501375 nor access the “Fast Startup” option. Do you have any idea where the problem is and how I can change some system settings to make DisplayCAL work correctly ? Thank you !

Disabling Xrite TRAY app should be enough without uninstalling DUCCS. Task Manager, startup.

I’ve not seen such behavior (w10) so I cannot help you.

Try commandline Argyll tools, for example

    dispcal -R -X my_ccss_file.ccss

This will test primaries and uncalibrated white placing default centered mesure square. If this is not working, then this issue is not related to Displycal but with ArgyllCMS and you should report it (with all the log info you can) to Argyllcms maillist for proper support.
