For curiosity’s sake I was wondering which rendering intent is better for a 3DLUT for a monitor with sRGB coverage (Dell U2913WM)? Relative colorimetric or absolute colorimetric with white point scaling?

It depends whether you have matched the target whitepoint via display controls (or calibration) or not. If you have matched the target, there is no difference between relative and absolute colorimetric intent. Otherwise, absolute will do the whitepoint correction via the 3D LUT.

    Thank you.
