    Hi there.

How do you create a 3dLUT after profiling based on the device’s native color space? My TV has a very specific color space which is not REC709, AdobeRGB, etc. It’s unique 🙂

Maybe is a very stupid questions, why would someone do that you may ask but I want to be able to not use video card gamma table at all, only a 3dLUT in Davinci Resolve.

    Thank you.

    Hi Florian,

Thank you for your reply. I think I expressed myself wrong or perhaps I don’t understand what the 3D LUT is actually doing.

Source color space:  “This sets the source colorspace for the 3D LUT, which is normally a video standard space like defined by Rec. 709 or Rec. 2020.”

If I understand correctly, after profiling, the native color space of my device  is going to be transformed / mapped to a video standard space like Rec709 or Rec. 2020. However I want to generate a 3D LUT with the device’s native color space.  Is that possible?

If you want the native color space, don’t use a LUT.
