    That would indicate that the encoded max brightness of your content does not exceed 1350 cd/m2.

    APL is still to bright on this tv for a dark room.

    If i reduce backlight to 60 of 100 picture is perfect for hdr.

    But then i loose several hundred nits that should be used only for the highest levels.

    Brightness at backlight 60 is probably only around 600 nits.

    700 nits should be distributed only to the highlights such as sun lamps and so on.

    A perfect way would be to have full control over the pq gamma curve.

    Just like you can adjust photos in camera raw with the s curve.

    Such curve with adjustment points for the pq gamma would be perfect.

    With that you could tone down shaddow details or raise the mid part of the picture.

    Whats needed here is a more S shaped pq gamma if you know what i mean
