    Hello!

I am a video editor, wanting to set up all my monitors so that colours are represented accurately.

I have a 2010 Apple Mac Pro, ATI 5770 GPU, with 2x Dell 2414H monitors connected via mini displayport to HDMI adaptors. I’m running OSX 10.10.5 (14F2009).

I have an xrite i1 Displaypro calibration device.

When I run the DisplayCAL on the two monitors, the end results are significantly different, with the white of a Finder window appearing much more blue than on the other.   This cameraphone photo

    …crudely illustrates the issue.

As far as I can tell, both calibrations were run with the same settings, so I don’t understand why they now look so very different.

Any advice would be very welcome!

    Hi,

As far as I can tell, both calibrations were run with the same settings, so I don’t understand why they now look so very different.

Check the whitepoint setting on the “Calibration” tab. The default is “As measured”, if you want to match two displays of the same model, you should probably set the whitepoint target to the same color temperature or chromaticity coordinates (i.e. 6500K or 0.3127 x 0.329 y).
