Hi guys. I had 2 Calibrite colorchecker Display Pro on hand. One from Amazon, and another one from B&H. I bought the Amazon one first, but a few days later BHP had the Calibrite colorchecker Display Pro on sale. I checked Amazon if they price match. They told me they don’t but I can return the one I bought from them. So I ended up with 2 at one point.
I tried both on the same monitor, with same setting, one after one at the same time interval, but ended up with different calibration results:
Monitor: LG 27GL83-A
Setting: Gamma 2.2 with D6500. Correction: LCD PFS Phosphor WLED Family.
One from Amazon: 94.3% sRGB coverage.
One from B&H: 99.1% sRGB coverage. RGB values needed in order to match the arrows are totally different in the step of adjusting white balance, compared to the Amazon one.
One from B&H (99.1% sRGB coverage) looks better to my eye.
My question is, is it normal to get different calibration results from 2 different Calibrite colorchecker Display Pro? Is the one I got from Amazon faulty?
