I just created my account and it is using an old LinkedIn picture for my profile avatar.. One question how is this possible, since I never set this. Next request, I would like to remove this picture from my profile and have no picture associated.

    Your account is not linked (no pun intended!) to linkedin, and the profile picture is coming from gravatar.com instead.

    You can do that by logging into your gravatar account and deleting the picture there. Note that it may take up to a 24  hours until the change propagates due to caching.

    Are all tickets open to everyone?!? Is there no way to create a private ticket request?

    Yes. Are you familiar with issue trackers for open source projects? Most operate in that way. If you have a request that you want handled privately, you can rather send a PM.
