I recently acquired a Lenovo ThinkPad P70 which includes a built in sensor. I can see that it is detected properly, but I get the following error from dispcal:
$ dispcal -d 2 -v 5 -D 5 -R Argyll 'V1.8.3' Build 'Linux 64 bit' System 'Linux #40-Ubuntu SMP Thu May 12 22:03:46 UTC 2016 4.4.0-22-generic x86_64' usb_check_and_add: found instrument vid 0x0765, pid 0x5010 Setting up the instrument new_inst: called with path '/dev/bus/usb/001/011 (GretagMacbeth Huey)' huey_init_coms: About to init coms huey_init_coms: About to init USB usb_open_port: open port '/dev/bus/usb/001/011' succeeded huey_init_coms: Lenovo version huey_command: Sending 'GetStatus' args '00 00 00 00 00 00 00' huey_command: returning '45 43 43 4d 33 20' ICOM err 0x0 ccmat = 1.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 1.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 1.000000 ucbid = 1, cbid = 1 huey_init_coms: inited coms OK huey_init_inst: called huey_check_unlock: called huey_command: Sending 'GetStatus' args '00 00 00 00 00 00 00' huey_command: returning '45 43 43 4d 33 20' ICOM err 0x0 huey_check_unlock: unknown model 'ECCM3 ' init_inst returned 'Not expected instrument model' (Not a known Huey Model) new_disprd failed because init_inst failed dispcal: Error - new_disprd() failed with 'Instrument Access Failed'
Any chance this sensor can be supported?
Cheers.
Hi,
please contact Graeme, the author of Argyll CMS, over the Argyll mailing list or directly. I know he has implemented support for another built-in Huey model a while back, so the thing that’s probably missing is the proper unlock code.
