    Good evening all,

I am having some issues with my i1 pro 2 not identifying within displaycal.

I have read that there can be issues with the native i1 profiling software interfering with displaycal so I have gone ahead and uninstalled all the x-rite software, but still no luck.

The x-rite device is recognized by my laptop as I can see it listed under the Win11 device manager, but displaycal never recognizes.

I have also read there can be issues with the x-rite devices and usb 3.0, however since my laptop can see the device I do not see why that would be an issue here. For reference I am on a Dell XPS 15 utilizing a WD19DCS, unsure if my dock would also cause any issues.

I have a MSI MAG274QRF and a LG 27GL83A-B that I am trying to calibrate, as the color difference between the two is quite noticeable.

    Any feedback is appreicated.

    Thanks!

Try updating Argyll CMS – for wchich DisplayCAL is a GUI –  to the latest version:

    1. Download Argyll 2.3.1: https://www.argyllcms.com/Argyll_V2.3.1_win64_exe.zip
    2. Extract the archive.
    3. Go to File > Locate Argyll CMS Executables…
    4. Navigate to <download_location>\Argyll_V2.3.1_win64_exe\Argyll_V2.3.1\bin
    5. Click “Select folder”.

Because you are not using ArgyllCMS USB drivers, read the doc:

    https://www.argyllcms.com/doc/Installing_MSWindows.html#WIN8

Latest signed drivers bundled witth DisplayCAL are 2.1.2 and support i1pro2

    http://displaycal.net/Argyll/Argyll_V2.1.2_USB_driver_installer.exe.zip

You won’t be able to use Xrite software or software that uses Xrite SDK unless you switch drivers as expained in doc.

Besides the above, one more thing.  I recently had similar issue with my colormunki, the issue is solved by connecting colormunki to PC through a USB hub.

try to disable the service Logitech LampArray.
