Hello,
I own a Calibrite Display Pro HL. When I searched the database, I could only find a correction file for the i1Pro2 that matches my monitor. (LG 27GP850-B)
Do you think using that file makes sense, or would it be better not to use any correction at all? Personally, the second option—not using a correction file—seems more logical to me. But since there might be technical details about these devices that I’m not aware of, I wanted to ask whether using that correction could actually make sense after all.
i1Pro2 is the SOURCE of the correction not the destination. If CCSS file, sure you should use it, if CCMX file it was not made for your particular i1d3. Of course better to use a default correction closer to your display spectral power distribution than no correction.
Thank you, Vincent, now I understand.
Yes, the file in the database is a .ccss file.
