hi all
does anyone know what is the spectral of this monitor?
the viewz support reffuse to give me an answaer (how rude!) and i can not find answear on the web or in this forum.
tnx in advance
🙂
What coverage of DCI-P3 color space? It is low contrast so not a oled. https://www.manualslib.com/products/Viewz-Vz-240pm-Pl-12056150.html . I could not even find it on viewz site.
It was a 2014 broadcaast monitor. It had a calibration program for it so someone should have instructions for that and those instructions adapted to 2024 software. I am finally using the color space difference formula after CIE2000 . Luminance matters more than getting red green and blue equal when blue is over lumance at a gamma normally used. I use gamma my screen has and adjust dICtCp .
Glad I do not have a Broadcast monitor , more bells and whistles but not simple. I like this page to for trying to get info on the screen. https://www.markertek.com/product/vz-240pm-pl/viewz-vz-240pm-pl-24-inch-fhd-reference-ips-10-bit-monitor . Ill be searching for the color correction software for it.
IPS is the type according to the webpage keyword. White LED could be it.
This is what you want to calibrate the monitor. It do not need a ICC profile. It talks to the monitor with rs 422. https://viewzusa.com/broadcast/product/vz-csp/
Sorry for the many replys to myself. Copilot in Windows Edge broswer gave me answers better than I could google. lol The instruction manual https://www.viewzusa.com/download/manual_broadcast/VZ-CSP_InstallationManual.pdf has the panel type for the Viewz 240 pm-pl . It is LM240WU9SLA1 . I asked copilot the panel type for LM240WU9SLA1 .
Backlight is GB-r LED . Panel Type is AH-IPS . It is a Si TFT-LCD display panel from LG display.
much appreciate!
so i will give it a try with the lcd- GB-r LED ips
Glad to help. I was looking for mine and can not be certain. It is VA panel I got sure on. White Led seems to work on it. Its red is off from the meter but not visualy. On meter right is visually off using its red filter. But its coordinates are not srgb so the filter is using its coordinates or not?
