Hi folks. I’am hardware editor. But I don’t have more information on monitors. I’m a bit novice in this regard. I need your help.
My purpose to measure uncalibrated and calibrated delta e results. And make comparisons.
Firstly i used calman color match. And here are the results

And calibrated and uncalibrated dispcalgui verification

Which results are correct?
In this video, you can see my steps. Where did i do wrong?

Patience is a virtue 🙂 I’m not always available, and if none of the users are able to chime in, then it can happen that a question will stay unanswered for some time, especially if it requires to make time to look at someone else’s data and draw conclusions from there.

Compared to a certain standard, e.g. sRGB or Rec 709?

Nothing wrong technically, but if your goal was to compare uncalibrated vs calibrated against a certain standard as mentioned above, then you need to make a few changes on the “Verification” tab.
- First, make sure the display profile is selected under “Settings” at the top.
- Select the standard you want to compare against under “Simulation profile” (enable the checkbox as well).
- If you’ve chosen Rec 709, select the desired tone curve parameters (default Rec. 1886), otherwise “Apply black output offset (100%)”
To verify uncalibrated:
– Enable “Use simulation profile as target profile”To verify calibrated & profiled:
– Do not enable “Use simulation profile as target profile”- This reply was modified on 2016-01-19 12:29:48 by fhoech.
2016-01-21 at 17:55 #1541I have done what you said. And here is new resaults.

To verify uncalibrated:
– Enable “Use simulation profile as target profile”
To verify calibrated & profiled:
– Do not enable “Use simulation profile as target profile”I guess this step is the most important point of this compare.
