Resolve has the capability of applying a 1D lut prior to a 3D lut. Is there any benefit to in a resolve based calibration workflow of having a 1D lut take care of the tone response curve calibration and the 3D lut handle the characterization?

TL;DR Is 1D Lut + 3D Lut better than the same corrections in a 3D lut?

There’s no easy way to tell unfortunately. DCG currently hasn’t the capability to create a 1D LUT for Resolve anyway though.
