I haven’t upgraded my Mac OS beyond Monterey (12.7.4) due to the challenges of DisplayCal functioning with newer versions of Python. I do need to upgrade to Sonoma (14.x) and soon, Sequoia (15.x) for business reasons. The Monterey ICC display profiles work excellently.
Could I just transfer my DisplayCal-generated display profile ICC files from Monterey into the Sonoma ColorSync Profile folders and point the Sonoma Display preference pane to that file?
Yes.
Also installing Displaycal-py3 is easy. install brew, create an venv and install it with pip. AFAIK you’ll have to start displaycal in commandline to open the window
