I’m trying to calibrate the acer xr341ck display. I found out that it uses LM340UW2-SSA1 panel.

There is a sRGB mode in the monitor’s settings. When I turn it on, it will lock the brightness and contrast settings of the monitor. So should I keep it on or off during calibration?

It’s default setting is off. Should I normally just use the default monitor settings as a start for calibration?

For best results, don’t limit the monitor gamut in hardware. The only reason you may want to use the sRGB mode is if you’re on Windows and want non-color-managed content to look similar to color managed content.
