    Hi,

I’m new here and to the monitor calibration idea so please bear with me.

the Spyder5 just arrived and I did calibrate my display with Spyder software. I did start the DC program but my Spyder is not detected.

    Any clue please?

    Thanks.

PS: I donated even before I used DC as it looks so cool!  🙂

    Hi,

I’m assuming you’re using Windows. Some instruments like the Spyder5 require an Argyll CMS specific driver to be installed before it can be used. Depending on your version of Windows this can be a little involved, but once installed you can switch between the Argyll and vendor driver using the Windows device manager (in case you want to keep using the Spyder software, otherwise there’s no need to switch back and forth).
To install the driver, select “Install Argyll CMS instrument driver…” from the “Tools” menu and follow the instructions.

PS: I donated even before I used DC as it looks so cool!

    Thank you 🙂

    Thanks Florian,

The first display calibrated, looks much better than what Spyder software did. The second display in progress (takes some time!)

I’m very pleased with your program!

For other newbies users, to quickly disable Driver Signature Enforcement in Windows 10:

open cmd as administrator and paste:

    bcdedit /set testsigning on

    hit enter and restart PC.

    To reverse as above but:

    bcdedit /set testsigning off

    Thanks
