    Hi Florian,

I downloaded DisplayCAL (10.5.3) to try-out on an old Spyder3Express colorimeter on a Macbook Pro (2010) running High Sierra. I’ve been running calibrations, and i’m getting pretty good results, at least visually better than the software that came with the colorimeter. But, i’ve not been able to download the colorimeter corrections for the Spyder.

I was looking through the forum and i found the exact same issue i’m having already posted (and resolved). However, the solution isn’t working for me. In this post you identified the issue as a ‘server configuration error’, which you then changed, and the OP was able to import settings.

    -this is the link: https://hub.displaycal.net/forums/topic/spyder-3/

When i try and download settings i get the message: “Download failed. Connection error (https://displaycal.net/icd.dmg)”.

It gives me the option to cancel, or go to the address. When i click on Go to, i’m taken to this page, and displayCAL tells me that import has failed: https://displaycal.net/iColorDisplay_DeviceCorrections.txt

    Any ideas?

    With thanks,

    Asim

Save that link as a text file, then browse for it when importing corrections. Btw, you may want to check your internet connection – there are some antivirus solutions which interfere with secure connections over HTTPS, or your system clock may not be synchronized.

I saved the file as you said -displayCAL has imported the settings and loads with them. Thanks very much Florian. 🙂

Hi Florian, i have been battling the same problem, although still achieving better profiles than Spyder software.

    Your fix is much appreciated!

I registered just now to enable me to thank you, so thank you very much
