    I’ve managed to install Argyll and dispcalGUI on Yosemite in order to get my spyder 2 working. Datacolor no longer supports this (Spyder Express 3 software worked with Spyder 2 up to Mavericks).

    The instrument is detected by dispcalGUI but it’s greyed out and says:
    “Spyder2)’!!Disabled – no firmware !!”

    Is it possible to get it to work ? (Do I need to manually place Argyll.kext in /System/Library/Extentions?)

    Strike that – found the “Enable Spyder 2 Colorimeter” option under “Tools”.
    I can confirm it’s working under Yosemite – Thanks.
