I used the built in projector correction for my Epson 5040 to make a 3DLUT. I now see a European model Epson projector CCSS file that correlates to the Epson 5050 (not mine, but close). Comparing the spectral files shows obvious differences. However, I have calibrated a 3DLUT with DisplayCAL, then used chromapure, and I have the numbers down pretty tight. Way under delta-2 for everything. So do I need to bother rerunning DisplayCAL with a (possibly) more correct spectral correction file? It seems like it shouldn’t matter because calibrated is calibrated, right? Thanks.

Save your current settings and rerun it, yes. The verification depends on the CCSS as well
