    Hi,

So for example if I have calibrated with:

    Whitepoint: As Measured

    White Level: As Measured

    Tone Curve: Gamma 2.2

    Should 3D LUT match that?
In my case the 3D LUT is for madVR

    Source colorspace: Rec709

Rendering intent: Absolute colorimetric with whitepoint scaling

    Input encoding: TV RGB

No. A LUT3D is a transformation/reencoding from one colorspace (whatever) to other colorspace (whatever)

So is Rec. 1886 the proper one for Rec709?
Even if the monitor is calibrated for Gamma 2.2?

Rec1886 actual TRC depends on display contrast… so maybe not. I won’t choose it for an IPS, choose 2.4 reltive (or whatever fit your needs).

Even if the monitor is calibrated for Gamma 2.2?

As said before you can put whatever you want as long as it is in gamut. That’s the point of a LUT3D
