Please help me! When calibrating the display, it is not possible to achieve a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The achievable value is 730:1. What could be the problem?
What could be the problem?
None. Nominal max contrast 1000:1 +-100 is contrast at native whitepoint. As long as you modify RGB gains to get other whitepoint, specially if your desired white is far from native white, contrast will drop further.
Also measurement device may not be up to the task, but even if it was, the explanation above.
