“use my settings for this device”  = Checked. Also check in Windows contrl panel that this is enabled on each monitor.

Yeah “use my settings for this device” is on for all monitors.

Is there any clarity on “use Windows display calibration” On or Off. I have seen both that it MUST be Off on this forum, and also that it MUST be On.

Either way though, for me it creates no change. I’m back to square one. No matter where I try and change between any of these ICC profiles, for either monitor, there is no change whatsoever.

Same if I calibrate with DisplayCal, the resulting profile is no change whatsoever.

I feel like I’m tried every last thing under the sun, what is there left to try? Again I stress on this exact setup this was working just fine and I never had to jump through all of these hoops. It just worked immediately. I’m really at a loss.

Your setup has no calibration set as default. There is no DisplayCAL profile with custom VCGT calibration set as default, you have not installed it, hence you have done “nothing”.

Anyway after setting properly a custom display profile and loading it, one with huge/severe VCGT correction that could be noticeable upon loading, if there is no change, the test VCGT access & read. Argyllcms dispcal.exe -R should be able to test noticieable changes in VCGT read by colorimeter.

I’m not sure what you mean I have no profile set as default? Where do I do that?

I’m not doing anything differently now than I did when everything was working just fine by the way.

Whatever ICC profile I switch to, there is no change, if that’s what you mean. Whether I create one, use ones from the internet, use the ones default in Windows.

I can flip through any of these ICC profiles in the screenshot and nothing will change. Or I can run DisplayCal and create a new one and again nothing will change.

Automatic fix profile associations is for multi monitor setup.  That could be confusing the software when you switch monitors.   I need to the read manual to remember it.

This is the 1st screenshot where config seems likely to be ok.

Now we miss the VCGT of that custom profile (does it actually store a calibration different than no calibration?) and then testing if VCGT changes translates to actual change in GPU output read by colorimeter.
All these test have been explained previously… it’s up to you to perform them.
