    Hi,

I am using a i1D3 OEM RevB. I want to calibrate a projector, but the Mode dropdown only contains Refresh (generic) and LCD (generic). I read in the manual Projector only appears if supported by the meter. But I’m sure the i1D3 support non-contact mode calibration?!

Anyone knows how I can solve this?

    Many thanks!

The i1D3 doesn’t have a dedicated “projector” measurement mode. You can just set it up normally (i.e. non-contact mode) and choose an appropriate colorimeter correction.

    Thanks for your reply.

When people talk about a ‘non-contact mode’, is this a software setting, or just setting up the probe on a tripod aiming upwards with the opaque white screen on the sensor/ lens?

    The latter.
