I’m not able to complete a calibration/profile with newest version of Dispcal running OSX 10.9.5 with i1Pro and Argyll 1.8.2. I downgraded to 1.7.5.7 and it works. Last time I tried on a win7 computer using the same i1pro, I had similar problems.
Is there a compatibility problem with the i1 and the newest versions of Dispcal? I don’t know where to start troubleshooting. Should I send logs?

It’s interesting that seemingly only the i1 Pro spectro seems to be affected, and only under Mac OS X.
Please try the following:
- Disable App Nap for dispcalGUI by selecting its application icon in the Finder and bring up the info dialog by pressing command-I (uppercase i). Check “Prevent App Nap”. This should prevent App Nap for the Argyll CMS tools which are launched as a sub-process as well.
- If that doesn’t work, you can also try disabling App Nap globally. From a terminal:

~~~~2015-10-12 at 16:30 #1174It would be great if you could try reproducing the problem on the Terminal using the same command line from the log, with added -D8 switch for debugging, and then post to the Argyll CMS list as I’m not able to reproduce the problem using my i1 Pro.
