I need to check the color temperature of an LCD Monitor (which is running some embedded stuff, but I could make it display white and the RGB color at all backlight settings).

Curently I am using spotread -T on Linux with a “Calibrite Display Plus HL” and compare the CCT  values – is that correct? The numbers given seem quite a bit on the high side.

    Thank you, Christian.

You need to add -X spectal_correction.ccss to get accurate readings for your particular backlight. Anyway if you say values are too high, plot the CIE xy coordinate.
