I’ve had zero issues until today. I was prompted for an update to Displaycal, and since then I keep getting “instrument access failed” notifications when I try to do anything in DisplayCal- run reports, calibration, etc.
I’ve tried looking for and manually ending any X-rite related tasks. The X-rite software is not open and profiler is not active.
I tried going back to a previous version of DisplayCal and same issue. Also tried several different USB ports.
The X-rite software works fine.
Any ideas?
Figured it out. The culprit was the new Logitech G Hub early access software. When I exit that it works fine.
Guessing it was causing some sort of usb device conflict. Hopefully this could help others having the same issue.
