    When calibrating a display on OS X, which ICC profile should be loaded in System Preferences? I can’t find any mention of this in the documentation, so does it somehow not matter? If the currently loaded profile is wildly inaccurate, wouldn’t that throw off the new profiling operation?

    The currently assigned display profile doesn’t influence the calibration and profiling.
