Home › Forums › Help and Support › i1 Display Pro not not detecting
Hi there,
I have used this soft wear on this PC before but recently got a new screen so need to calibrate it. I plug the sensor in and the light does not turn on and DisplayCAL does not detect and displays the attached message when attempted to be used.
Windows is detecting it as I get the USB connect notification sounds, but seemingly it is not going past that.
I am on Windows 11 and have tried plugging it into all of my different USB ports and restarting my computer, as well as reinstalling DisplayCAL.
Any help would be appricated.
Displaycal can not connect to the calibrator: Close “logi”, “lamp”, “argb”, “Alinware command center”, “AWCC Background”, “Gigabyte RGBFusion”, “TeamSpeak3”, “BaseCamp.Service”, etc. in the process. The font program occupies the calibrator’s port, and the i1 profile software and its driver have not been uninstalled.
So try to close background processes in task manager?
Yes, that’s a problem I’ve had.

Thank you! I couldn’t get my calorimeter to connect to my new Alienware monitor until I uninstalled Alienware command center.
