Maybe this is a noob question but I can’t find the answer online, maybe I’m using the wrong search terms.
I have one display that I’ve adjusted for specific content and I would like to record how it presents colour, so that in case this display is damaged or anything I can save what that display looked like and restore it at some future point on another display of sufficient quality.
The first problem is I’m not sure how to record a display like that , and the second is that DisplayCAL seems to reset the gamma LUT on the graphics card whenever it makes measurements, but I have used a variety of different software to get the right LUTs to make the display look like how I want it to, and I’m not sure how to get DisplayCAL to measure the display without resetting this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

-Load the calibration LUTs you want into GPU
-Run DisplayCAL, set all calibration settinsg to native/asmeasured. Calibration button changes to profile only.
-Create a profile only, when asked choose the option to embed current calibration curves into profile.
