Hi everyone!
I’m currently calibrating my external display (and creating a 3D Lut) that I want to use with Davinci Resolve.
I’m using a SpyderX Pro and I’m following this step by step guide: https://youtu.be/6xNU5YTDUOo?si=OPe3LpPlI1Bh-6Sy
Everything is fine with the process, but in the end on the profile self check my results are way too high: average is 3.68 and, maximum 15.25, RMS 6.01.
I tried increasing the minimum display update delay to 1100, then 1200, but I’m still basically getting the same results.
Has anyone had this issue or knows how to solve it? I’d be super grateful…

Unfortunately, Spyders are infamous for being inaccurate. It would be best to get an X-Rite i1 Display Pro/Pro Plus or a Calibrtite ColorChecker Display Pro/Plus/HL.
I feared it might be something like this. Thank you, Kuba! I will be ordering a Calibrite Display Pro HL.
Have a great day and rest of the week!
