I was previously using a Spyder 5 with Displaycal (Windows 11). I just replaced it with a new Spyder X. But Displaycal doesn’t recognize the Spyder X.

I’m using Displaycal ver 3.8.9.3. I tried the option to detect devices, but no luck. I uninstalled and reinstalled the ArgyllCMS drivers from the Displaycal menu. No luck. I then uninstalled the ArgyllCMS drivers and manually downloaded them from the ArgyllCMS site (ver 3.4.1) and ran the installer, which was successfull. Displaycal still doesn’t see the Spyder. The SpyderX shows up in Windows Device Mgr as “Argyll LibYSB=win32 device” – “Spyder2024”. The Arygll driver installed shows as ver 1.2.6.0. So, why doesn’t Displaycal see it?

    Anyone have any ideas?

Any “not detected” test should be tested commandline, to check if ARgyll sees it or it may be captured by another app.
Argyll’s “spotread” or “dispcal -R” are the easiest tests to run commandline.
