Hi my Proart PA247CV WLED is supposed to have 100% sRGB/Rec709 coverage and 1000:1 contrast ratio. When I run my calibration, the end result reads an 88% Gamut Coverage and the report is saying 487:1 contrast.

    • My monitor is set to Rec709 2.4 gamma. Video level input.
    • Resolve is also set to Rec =709 2.4 gamma. Video level output. 10 bit.
    • DisplayCal is set up for Video 3d LUT for Resolve (D65 Rec709) preset, Resolve output, WLED Correction, TV output levels
    • DisplayCal Calibration tab: default whitepoint (D65), White Level: 100cd/m, Black level as measured, tone curve as measured
    • 3d LUT settings: Rec709 source colorspace, Tone curve Rec 1886, 2.4 gamma absolute, input and output encoding are TV range.

What should I do to get closer to full gamut via my OSD? I have so many controls – Black point, saturation, contrast, 6-point hue and saturation, RGB gain and offset. Displaycal only prompts me to use brightness and RGB gain, which are all within range.

Do I need to up the saturation to try and spread out the gamut shape? Is my black level/point set up correctly? (I never get a prompt to dial in black point)

    Any ideas appreciated!

You have an HDMI level range issue, unlikely unrelated to DisplayCAL… but test.
LUT3D off in resolve, use video samples with rec709 100% IRE white an 0 black and measure them to check contrast, when you resolve your configuration issue, redo XYZLUT profile and LUT3D creation.
