Hi.
I calibrated my Eizo CS2740 using DisplayCal, Davinci resolve and an i1 DisplayPro. However, I only seem to be getting 98.0% sRGB gamut coverage (and 69.7% Adobe RGB and 72.1% DCI P3) with a max delta E of 2.26. This is weird to me, as per my understanding it should be 100% sRGB and <2 delta E (not to mention the Adobe RGB and DCI P3 percentile).
My flow is:
Decklink mini monitor 4K > SDI > Microconverter 12G > HDMI > Eizo CS2740.
My monitor is set up in:
Color Mode: sRGB
Brightness: 120 cd/m2
Gamma: 2.4
Gamut: sRGBDisplayCal is set up as:
Settings: Video 3D LUT for Resolve (D65, Rec. 709 / Rec. 1886)
Correction: Spectral: LCD CCFL family (AC, EIZO, HP)
Whitepoint: Chromaticity coordinates 0.3127x and 0.3290y
White level: As measured
Tone curve: As measuredIn DisplayCal I also built a 3D lut (33x33x33) for my MicroConverter 12G. Settings are:
Source colorspace: Rec709 ITU-R BT.709
Tone Curve: Rec. 1886
Rendering intent: Absolute colorimetric with white point scaling
Input encoding: Full range RGB 0-255
Output encoding: Full range RGB 0-255Am I doing anything wrong? Am I missing something? The weird thing is, is that my 300 EUR LG monitor I use for UI has 99.7% sRGB, 86.6% Adobe RGB and 91.3% DCI P3 with a max delta E of 2.46.

Meaningless since it depends on measurement configuration (*)
with a max delta E of 2.26.
It would be user’s fault. As data it is meaningless since you do not provide data where are placed the highest errors.
Color Mode: sRGB
Brightness: 120 cd/m2
Gamma: 2.4

Tone curve: As measured(*) which is wrong. It’s a WLED PFS. Use Stuart Pointon or community EDR/CCSS corrections for ColorNavigator and DisplayCAL.
It’s recomended to leave CN7 to native gamut, just correct white level & white point. Gamma optionaly since it coudl be done on LUT3D for Resolve… depends on how many colrospaces do you want to simulate with the same CALx in Eizo Hw.Am I doing anything wrong? Am I missing something?

Bet the uniformity os not the same. +-3% coverage is mostly meaningless specially if you are measuring wrong, as you did
with a max delta E of 2.46.
Same as in previous quotes. Meaningless bc we do not know overall behavior.
As a single picture without numbers, CIE a*b* plot vs reference shown in report gives a hint for many things. Contrast ratio and greyscale L, a & b deviations to reference are the first things to look for.
Also any claim should have attached an HTML report, not a sector screenshot, since HTML report verification usually shows common user error & misconfiguration.
