I have iMacPro 2017 with MacOS Sonoma.
After DisplayCal software installation and allowing screen recording, when I try to start the Application a got this message – DisplayCAL quit unexpectedly.
Reopen and reinstall have not any results.
Please Help to resolve the problem!
Same issue here.
The MacOS app is dead ?
The Python version is very buggy and I can’t get it to send color patches to my UltraStudio with Davinci Resolve.
Bastien-
Saw a few posts of yours. Same issue here, got an M3 Max, UltraStudio Mini Monitor 3G, and while my python build connects to Resolve, it can’t send any patches but the grey test patch, and then fails. Did you find a solution?
For Sonoma you’ll have to use Erkans Python3 port. Google DisplayCAL python3 erkan or search the forum.
Yeah that’s what I’m using. Unfortunately still having this issue
Same here.
I am using the Python3 version but I have the issue that the patches doesn’t pass through my Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini 4K i/o device to my monitor, via DaVinci Resolve. The IP address connection to Resolve works fine though.

I wonder if there’s some file that needs permission from argyll that isn’t getting requested or something. Just a guess. The build otherwise seems mostly stable…
Yes, but even after giving all the requested accesses to DisplayCal, the issue remains the same.
Right me too. Wondering if there’s a step we both missed somehow.
Hopefully, someone can help about this.
@MG23 FYI I have created a topic about this specific issue : here
