    Hi everyone,

I’m trying to use displaycal with a more recent model of specbos called “specbos 2501” and the software does not seem to be able to detect the instrument. No succuss with “Tools -> detect display devices and instruments”. Do you have any suggestions how to deal with it?

Thanks for the tip, gave it a try and it does recognize the device. However, it fails during the calibration with the attached errors.

You’ll have to test full functionality command line using latest Argyllcms. For example measuring a white patch (notepad) with spotread:

ONLY IF it works command line but not in DisplayCAL you can guess that it’s DisplayCAL’s fault. If it happens try to use python3 version:

If it does not work on DisplaYCAL 3.9.17 but works command line, report issue in DIsplayCAL py3 github.

If it does not work command line, report issue on Argyllcms mail list.
