Create 3D LUT

Hi Florian
I may be a bit confused here but how do I create a 3Dlut file from my existing setup? The 3D LUT section is disabled, and I can only enable it when I select a 3DLUT setting from the menu.

Can I create a 3DLUT file from my current profile?

how do I create a 3Dlut file from my existing setup?

It’s possible with a work-around. Go to the “Display & instrument” tab and set the display to “madVR”. This will enable the 3D LUT tab even if none of the 3D LUT presets were used. Then go to the 3D LUT tab and disable “Create 3D LUT after profiling”.

Is this the only way to create a 3D LUT file or is there a proper way to do so? Maybe when the dialogue shows up after profiling?

Apart from starting new from a 3DLUT-enabled preset, this is one of the other two ways to create a 3D LUT. The other is to use the standalone 3D LUT maker.
