Is that a brand new install of windows 10 or an upgrade? How does your probe show under device manager? On my W10 it shows as HID-compliant vendor-defined device and USB input device.
Do you use HCFR as well, does the probe work under that?

dtp92: Got error NEEDS_OFFSET_DRIFT_CAL on instrument reset – being ignored
Not sure, but this seems like an instrument issue. If I read the code in Argyll’s dtp92.c correctly, the instrument should still work though (thus the “being ignored” part of the message).
Please enable Argyll CMS debug output in the “Options” menu and attach a debug log.

I’ve asked Graeme for help, and this seems to be an actual hardware failure, the instrument EEPROM may have faded over time. It’s possibly not a good idea to trust the instrument readings anymore. You may want to look into replacing it in the long run.
2015-10-30 at 15:55 #1220Do you mean the calibrator itself?
Is there a way to enable it and run with the software?2015-10-30 at 16:25 #1221Do you mean the calibrator itself?
Yes, the firmware appears to be faulty.
Is there a way to enable it and run with the software?
You can try the attached executables (make a copy of your Argyll_1.8.x directory and overwrite the executables in the ‘bin’ folder with the ones in the archive, then use “Locate Argyll CMS executables…” in the “File” menu in dispcalGUI to select them), but note that the instrument readings will probably be compromised due to the firmware fault.

2015-10-31 at 4:37 #1224You’d have to send the instrument in to X-Rite.
