    Hello all,
    Hope you are doing well.
I am brand new to this world of screen calibration. I am no professional, and no professional user is intented for screen calibration, just to try a calibration and try to have better colors on my device.

This weekend I just bought a colormunki display for very cheap (10eur).
Just installed Displaycal 3.8.9.3  from this site, it downloaded argyll 2.3.1 automatically, and the calibration went ok on my Lenovo X13 running Windows 11.

Tried a similar approach on my Mac Mini Late 2014 (i7,16Gb Ram,SSD), and it halts at the a gray square.
Tried Displaycal Py 3.9.14 from this site with Argyll 3.3.0 and similar issue, both on MacOS Sequoia 15.2 and Windows 10. Even tried Display Cal Py 3.9.14 with Argyl 2.3.1 and similar issue.

Also I tried Display 3.3.5 on my Powerbook G4 12, both with Argyl 3.3.0 and 2.3.1 and similar issue.

    Any help?
    Thank you

I’ll have to diagnose using commandline. It may be the OS, some security block…

Try spotread comandline (it will read whatever it is on screen) or dispcal -r or -R which will run a very basic white point & contrast test.

If it runs on commandline and not in DisplayCAL you know where is teh source of error. Also check DisplayCAL console log.
