    When using ‘Create profile from measurement data…’ with the same ti3 data, the fallback matrix when you make a xyzlut+matrix is different to the one on a single curve + matrix profile.

    To replicate, create a XYZLUT profile, then use the .ti3 file to create a single curve + matrix profile, then compare the matrixes of each in displaycal profile viewer.

    Which one should I trust as accurate?

    Likely to use as matrix an average that minimizes overall error modeling the display over a bigger sample patches.
    Just measure primaries and compare to illuminant relative column.

    Even if matrix is less accurate it will cause less errors due to color management on most apps that do not have high bitdepth processing (for color management) and dithering
