I have an ASUS 2021 ROG Strix SCAR 17 (G733QS-XS98Q), the one with a 100% DCI-P3 display, that I want to calibrate with a Calibrite ColorChecker Display Plus. I’m using an sRGB clamp via the AMD Radeon Software so I can view sRGB content without over saturated colors.

    Here are my questions:
    1. Should I calibrate before or after the sRGB clamp? If before, then I should use the LCD PFS Phosphor WLED correction, right?
    2. If I calibrate after the sRGB clamp, should I change the correction to LCD White LED? I had a slightly lower dE*76 average of 0.04 compared to the 0.18 I get when I calibrate with PFS Phosphor correction after sRGB clamp.

WLED PFS always (if it is actually a WLED PSF, IDNK), no matter OSD preset. Correction is linked backlight technology.

sRGB simulation is a chain based on ideal colorspaces, sRGB->EDID on a lut-matrix-lut. I’d say it is conmutative but you’ll have to test.
