    Hi,

I have tried several different callibrations for my laptop monitor, all of them look very pale/washed out.

There is one profile which looks decent, ” DisplayCal  Visual Whitepoint  Editor Temporyary Profile”.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I have tried several different callibrations for my laptop monitor, all of them look very pale/washed out.

What’s the sRGB coverage % of your laptop monitor? Anything below roughly 90% is not suitable for color work.

There is one profile which looks decent, ” DisplayCal Visual Whitepoint Editor Temporyary Profile”.

This profile leads to a “null” transform being used in color managed applications for sRGB material, i.e. using it is effectively the same as no color management at all.

Ran a new profile since I couldn’t find how to get the sRGB coverage from the profiles I have run (is there a way?).

The coverage shows 93.5% sRGB coverage, 103.6% volume.

    That looks fine.
