I just got a Display pro HL and im excited to try it out. My panel is a VA miniled, backlight is WLED.

    Monitor: https://aoc.com/uk/gaming/products/monitors/q27g3xmn/specification

    Are these settings correct:
Leave the panel in WIDE gamut mode (but calibrate with Tone Curve as SRGB). Im on Win 11 if that makes a difference.
    Gamma 2.25
    Temperature 6500k
Use the appropriate correction, but which one is best for my monitor type?

Also when it comes to HDR, the brightness and contrast are locked ofc. I intend to calibrate with the colours alone but how can i incorporate that ICC profile with the HDR calibrated profile windows provides. The windows profile only adjusts brightness, luminance etc. I know this is a stretch but if i can do both, that would be awesome.

    Thanks!

    It is not (only) “WLED”.

It may be WLED PFS phosphor, it may be QLED. Don’t set white led as colorimeter correction, it is not.
Unless somebody measured its SPD is guessing. If it covers or near covers AdobeRGB green it’s WLED PFS flavor with AdobeRGB. DisplayCAL bundle has one of these for i1d3

Also there are infinite whites with 6500K CCT although justa few look white. Don’t say 6500K (a curve) but 6500K daylight (a point, an intersection of 2 curves)

Regarding sRGB TRC, IDNK actual contrast. Test it uncalibrated, measure contrast & TRC by validating driver’s ICM at native gamut
