A very strange situation.
The settings are standard. Creating a 3D table is disabled, but after measuring patches, when the program starts doing calculations, we can wait forever for its response. I deliberately left her to “think” for three hours – to no avail.If you run the measurement again, everything is fine. The situation arises by some incomprehensible chance, with the same settings.
What could be the matter?

Find where it stoped in logs. If there few steps missing maybe you can run them commandline.

It seems that we can’t set the brightness (white point) manually, but me need to set the parameter “as measured”.
This is an iMac. Brightness can only be set in rough steps from the keyboard (Either 130+ or 96 candles.). Color can’t be set at all ((.
I set the option “as measured” (white point). I’ll see what happens.Honestly, I don’t understand why Apple devices are praised so much.

Honestly, I don’t understand why Apple devices are praised so much.
Mostly for macbooks, new XDR macbooks are very good out of the box and macOS allows some kinds of assited “HW-like” calibration for WP. It may be actually done by GPU+dither, IDNK, but looks like HW -like.
