Hi everybody. Its been a while since I’ve calibrated my last monitor that unfortunately died last week.
Now I’m trying to calibrate my new ASUS WOLED XG32UCWMG monitor with a i1 Display Pro and the latest DisplayCAL build.
As the last Build is from 2019 am the WOLED panel technology changed quite a bit over the years, I’m unsure if I have to use some settings and compensation methods to properly calibrate my screen here.
I’ve read that you’d need a spectrophotometer for OLEDs, is that the case?
Also I’ve seen a setting to compensate for WOLED with LG Series 6 panels…
I’d greatly appreciate a hint or two on where to start and what better not to do 🙂
thanks in advance!
Use default WOLED correction from i1DisplayPro bundle (tools, import colorimeter corrections). Maybe you need to enable “white level drift compensation”, IDNK how good behaved are these oleds nowadays.
