I would like to know if someone could help with the installation for DisplayCAL pios I don’t have much experience to install, and I depend a lot on the calibration, thanks for the help!

    Download ZIP version
    https://displaycal.net/download/standalone/DisplayCAL-win32.zip
    Download ArgyllCMS
    https://www.argyllcms.com/Argyll_V2.3.1_win64_exe.zip

Unzip both in some folder where you set programs, like C:\bin or whatever you like.

Run DisplayCAL, do not download ArgyllCMS, choose an existing version, proviede the path to unziped ARgyllCMS  “bin folder” , like “C:\bin\ArgyllCMS_2.3.1\bin” or whetever you put when unziping. Say OK to firefall questions regarding ports for ArgyllCMS apps.

If you need to use an Spyder or an spectrophotometer install ArgyllCMS 2.1.2 USB driver (latest signed):
http://displaycal.net/Argyll/Argyll_V2.1.2_USB_driver_installer.exe.zip (need to install with admin rights)

Then read how to use DIsplayCAL once it’s installed.

I’ve used it last week on a w10 laptop and it installs. Try to move exe file to other folder (that folder is named “something.exe”) so MS security does not think it’s a threat,

Anyway, if you want to use direct instalation from DisplaYCAL, it seeks the USB driver for its Argyll version, so temporally downloading ARgyllCMS 2.1.2 set it as bin folder and installing USB driver with that old argyll as main argyll fill fetch 2.1.2 USB.
IDNK where you can get a 2.1.2 unless you have it downloaded, IDNK is Argyll web stores old versions.
Maybe from “profiler” in sourceforge (https://sourceforge.net/projects/cprofiler2020/files/), so making DIsplayCAL point to that bin argyll folder and downloading that USB 2.1.2 version.
But I’ll try to move installer out of that exe folder first. Also do not move it to some “download” folder or temp folder since WIndows may not want it and think it’s a security threat.
