    I just purchased a 2023 Legion 9i it is a laptop.  It comes with a CSOT T3 MNG007ZA2-2.  I couldn’t find any information about it.  I think it’s a WLED w/ PFS….

Wondering which Spectral correction I should be using.  I tried using my i1 Pro to do a correction with my i1dp3 but I think my old i1 pro can’t do the nits this panel produces.

any recommendation I can get this panel profiled and corrected for Windows 11?  setting recommedation I should be checking or unchecking?

You do not need to correct the i1d3 this way. Lower brightness, create CCSS (3nm) and that’s it. Then plot it 2D and check baklight led, it may match some of the well know samples.

IDNK how that Legion behaves. > 300nit should be measured without issue by i1pro. Also it won’t care about actual brightness, you just need “relative” spectral power distribution shape. That’s what i1d3 needs, assuming a more or less aditive linear behavior of display which is a requirement to use an i1d3 and correct it with a 3×3 matrix (CCSS translates to a matrix unique per device at the end of the pipeline)

Is there a way to use DisplayCal to measure nit output live so I can change the brightness level to something near 300nits?

or I need another program for that?
