I did a new calibration today on my dual screen home PC.

DisplayCal noticed an update so updated to 3.2.4 and started calibrating. It is generating a profile. But when I select update profile in the finishing dialog I receive a message telling me that NoneTpe is missing the attribute DeviceKey

I downgraded the software but now I got the same message. Rebooted, same issue
totally uninstalled and reboot, same issue

  1. Are you running in a VM? EnumDisplayDevices should not fail on real hardware. It is not possible to install a profile without it, so this error is unfixable. If you’re not running in a VM, your video drivers might be faulty.

  2. No, it is real hardware.
It could  well be my video driver. I had an update a week ago that I had to do twice

    I’ll check it out tonight

  3. For some reason my display driver was totally screwed up.
So yes, you were right. I uninstalled the driver, cleaned the registry and rebooted.
Windows 10 reinstalled the genuine driver and now DisplayCal is function like it use to.

Thank for the hint, glad to see my screens calibrated again without any problems 🙂
