I updated to dispcal from 3.1.6 to 3.1.7 today. After restarting dispcal, the update check for Argyll ran and saw I was still on 1.8.3.
- dispcal prompted me to update. This modal update dialogbox says at the top “An update is available: Argyll CMS 1.9.1”. Under it in the scrolling area, is text about v1.8.3 -> v1.9.1.
- The “check for app update on startup” was checked. I clicked the “update now” button.
Result:
A model error dialog box appeared with the text “Not Found http://www.argyllcms.com/Argyll_V1.9.1_win64_exe.zip”
Expected:
The Argyll download and update to occur.
Note:
After this, I visited the argyll website. On it, I saw that the current version of argyll is 1.9.2. The version numbers do not match. Perhaps this is a cross/integration related bug.
Hi,
thanks for the report. 1.9.2 replaces 1.9.1, thus the old version now throws a 404 on argyllcms.com. I updated the version file to 1.9.2 so that DisplayCAL should now fetch the most recent release.
Hi Florian,
I’m using Windows 10 64 bits and I don’t use frequently Dispcal but today when I went to check my monitor calibration and hit “verification” (french) a modal box appeared that require …Argyll_v1.8.3/ref/Colorchecker.cie . Uninstalled Dispcal and reinstalled with ZeroInstall but same thing! Currently with Argyll v1.9.2 and DisplayCal 3.2.3. May be related to the previous bug??
Thanks for your fantastic tool for an hobbyist photographer!
This is simply the file you last used on the “Verification” tab. If you deleted the Argyll_v1.8.3 folder, of course it’ll no longer exist. Simply select another file.
