  1. Hi,

make sure nothing else is accessing the instrument (e.g. close the vendor software if running, it may be hidden but still have an icon in the taskbar tray). If X-Rite device service is installed, disable it. If this doesn’t help, try different USB ports if you can (preferably USB2, not USB3).

  2. Hi Florian,
I’ve uninstall colormunky software and X-Rite device service, I’ve restart PC, I’ve connected colormunky rear on USB2, but the error is same.
Is there others to check ?

  3. I can’t think of anything right now. Windows error code 24 means “bad command length”, but in typical MS fashion this is an incredibly broad description and thus it’s hard to know what the actual problem is. Have you tried removing and reinstalling the driver?

  4. Hi Florian,
Yesterday after many connect/disconnect, it’s worked one time and I have do calibration.
After, i’ve try again and I’ve always error.
I don’t understand because it’s worked one time, maybe can be how Windows enumerate devices in “Human Interface Device (HID)” as “Device input USB”.
Probably can be influence the order.
    What do you think ?
